7 Trans Rights Petitions You Can Sign Right Now
All the current petitions on the parliamentary website related to trans+ rights.
It’s now well-known that the government doesn't acknowledge or debate petitions from websites other than the parliamentary website. Whether or not we disagree with this as a rule, it’s important we campaign for trans+ rights in ways that will ensure the government listens.
Currently, there are a number of petitions related to the rights of trans+ people on the parliamentary petition website that haven’t reached the goal of 100,000 signatures, ensuring a debate on the topic. It’ll take you less than five minutes to sign them all and share this article. Although some of these have already been responded to or acknowledged by the government, it’s important we continue showing support and sharing them. You can never have too many signatures.
